Viktoria Hertling

From 1994 to 2009, Professor Viktoria Hertling founded and directed the Center for Holocaust, Genocide and Peace Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno. She has conducted extensive research on the Holocaust and the fates of those forced into exile. She has published numerous books and essays regarding these subjects. She taught in Berlin until 2013. She lives in Cologne and plays cello in a chamber orchestra.
