In the exhibition “Erinnerungsort St. Blasien. Home - People - Fates”, pupils from the St. Blasien College paid tribute to the lives of people who were persecuted by the National Socialists in St. Blasien and had to leave their homes. In addition to the individual life stories, the focus was on photographs and personal objects from the lives of the persecuted. Using the Japanese printing technique risography, authentic sources from various contexts - estates, family memories, photo albums, reparation files and newspaper articles - were brought together. The starting point for the exhibition was one question in particular for the pupils: How do we - as the younger generation - want to remember these people and their lives today?
